A hotel that will surprise you
Our visit to Hotel Hotel Posada Playa Tortuga was a delightful surprise. After driving 500 meters from the highway through the jungle on a gravel road, the hotel seemed to come out from nowhere. And from practically every point - the rooms, the pool, the restaurant - you have an absolutely gorgeous view of the ocean. Since the forest buffers the hotel from the highway, the atmosphere is noticeably tranquil. A refreshing, cool breeze seems to be present day and night. The walk to the beach is about 10 minutes, but you have to cross the lagoon at low tide. Hotel Hotel Posada Playa Tortuga was built with hacienda-style architecture with lots of local artists exhibits.
